CHRIS WALKER

Chris’s career in TV has now spanned over 12 years and he has worked in almost all genres from sports broadcast, documentary, news, light-entertainment and comedy.

Before Thinkative, Chris was the first Managing Editor of The Project and was the EP of Network Ten’s 50 Years Young.  Chris is the co-creator and EP of The Weekly, Hard Quiz and Tomorrow, Tonight.  He lives with his partner Carrie Bickmore and their three children Ollie, Evie and Addie.

CHARLIE PICKERING

Charlie also graduated law and began work in a large commercial law firm before quitting to pursue comedy.  That was twenty years ago. Charlie is now one of the country’s funniest and most recognisable comedians. He has travelled the world performing stand-up in New York, Edinburgh, South Africa, Melbourne and New Zealand. He’s entertained the troops in Afghanistan, hosted national radio shows and published a best-selling memoir.

On top of all that, he’s made a whole lot of TV. He was team captain on Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Generation as well as host of The Project. Charlie currently hosts, writes and executive produces The Weekly, Hard Quiz and Tomorrow Tonight. He can also speak at length (and in great detail) about US politics and Scottish Terriers.

WHAT WE DO

We are an independent TV production company that has so-far specialised in premium, studio-based comedy and entertainment shows.  In our first five years we have successfully launched three new formats of our own creation, garnering large audiences and critical acclaim along the way.

As our name suggests, we like to make TV that makes you think but also makes you laugh.  We love learning new things and sharing them with our viewers in the most entertaining way possible. If we have a guiding philosophy, it is to respect our audience enough to expect the most of them without ever taking ourselves too seriously.

Our background may be in comedy, but we are not afraid to take on more challenging subjects and projects. And while our current slate is studio shows, we are always developing new ideas and formats in both scripted and non-scripted formats. Our team has experience producing and anchoring everything from national election coverage to sports programs, sketch comedy and game shows. Put simply, we love making great TV.
